Editorial Policies / User Conditions / Responsibilities / Terms

The present user conditions constitute a contract between you and TANGO TANGO TV that you accept and acknowledge reading by becoming a member.

TANGOTANGO TV’s objective is to allow the largest number of persons to communicate among themselves, professional or not, independent of their origins, political convictions, financial situation, religious convictions, cultural and social, pertaining to Argentinean Tango, therefore making a contribution toward a global expansion.

It also takes into account the promotion of the different manifestations in regard of Tango such as, courses, milongas, festivals; it permits new encounters between the members that may be found throughout the world.

The professionals will dispose of an instrument that will allow them to be better known and to contact members.  The milonga and festival organisers will also be able to make announcements and to capture larger audiences that exist outside of their frontiers of their city and country.  The amateurs have the possibility of a personal site with different functions and can contact or be contacted by other members, make new encounters, establish new friendships, find dancing partners, or find lodging in other cities and countries, find old acquaintances, etc.

TANGO TANGO TV is open to any internet collaboration if it responds to the objectives of the editorial note.

TANGO TANGO TV undertakes to update the diverse contributions (articles, videos…) in the smallest space of time possible taking into consideration our technical and editorial capacities.

TANGO TANGO TV is not associated with any sect, political party, religion or association, save for the Sect of Tango Lovers (lol); TANGO TANGO TV doesn’t defend any conflict, any cultural tendency or particular ideas: its only motive concerns the well-being and blooming of its members during the practise of Argentinean Tango.

The editorial policy of TANGO TANGO TV is founded upon the idea of free sharing information and experience between the internet users, either professionals or amateurs, which concerns the different subjects included in the different rubrics published on our site, as well as permitting communication and encounters between the members. 

TANGO TANGO TV defends the following ideas: by helping increase the dancers’ level we participate by ameliorating our societies living conditions in general, and that by stimulating encounters and the learning of tango by dancing couples, the latter will find not only dancing partners but friends, and even relationships between them.  Indeed, people throughout the world dance Tango and it is certain that oftentimes it is easier to get along with someone who lives on the other side of the world.

Hence, our wish to foment sharing information, personal experiences, articles, videos, etc., between the most numerous of people:  not only artistic capacity will be permitted while doing so, but lessons will be learned on how to ameliorate one’s own aptitudes in this manner.

Any person having deposited a contribution on our website has the right to retreat it by demand.  TANGO TANGO TV will take necessary measures in its technical and editorial capacities to effectuate the retreat within a reasonable delay.  Taking into consideration the complex processing of information, our society and its editors cannot be held responsible of any eventual mishaps or inaccuracies.

CONTRIBUTOR’S RESPONSABILITIES

Every contributor that uploads articles, photos, sound recording or videos, is claimed responsible for his acts: if he is not owner of the intellectual property (copyright) uploaded he has an authorization from the author, he has a copyright of his own material, has picture rights concerning persons, places, and monuments.  Furthermore, the contributor claims himself equally responsible and takes those responsibilities upon himself in case of judicial persecution and eventual lawsuits in regard of the uploaded and shared material; TANGO TANGO TV and our Editorial Society is thus cleared from any responsibility.

It is obligatory to sign your contributions with your name and surname or a pseudonym.  You may, if you’d like, add your personal address and telephone number, as well as e-mail, website, etc.

By becoming a member, you authorise TANGO TANGO TV to publish your name or pseudonym in the rubric ‘Members List’, as well as any information or photo submitted to your member space or anywhere else on the website, especially in the list menus.

By becoming a member you accept to receive information through newsletters or other types of formats by TANGO TANGO TV or its partners.

You may retreat your membership at any moment or modify your personal information by entering your member space and following the pertaining instructions to do so or by sending us an email from the same email used to sign up with the message containing STOP MEMBERSHIP.

By submitting an article or document, the authors accept without restriction that it may be used freely, partially or totally by other websites, as well as other media that submit a demand to TANGO TANGO TV, except in explicit disaccord in doing so.

We ask our collaborators to respect the usage of the English language.  We may not always be able to correct the articles and give our excuses with anticipation in case of grammatical or spelling errors committed.  What is most important is to participate, by whatever means may be at hand.

To respect the clarity of messages, the commentary that accompanies the videos may be modified by the editorial committee without receiving prior authorization from its author, by respecting the author’s intentions and will.

Each expressed comment and contribution diffused on TANGO TANGO TV reflect only the opinion of its authors, and do not otherwise constitute an absolute verdict, nor transmit the opinion of the editorial committee or administration of TANGO TANGO TV or its editorial society.  We uphold the principle that various points of view exist and we count on the members to analyse the submitted information.  We encourage our collaborators, internet users, readers, and audiences to consider the contents of the diffused contributions as a data base that may lead to personal complimentary research.

TANGO TANGO TV, the editorial society or its administrators and personnel are not held liable for problems that may be caused by sharing or interaction by its collaborators, consultants, internet users, members, what ever may be the terms, coordinates, links, articles, sound or video recordings diffused unto the tangotangotv.com. All of the contributors are volunteers and in no way are entitled onerous.  By accepting, you hereby renounce deliberately to the editorial society TANGO TANGO TV any indemnification or monetary disputes or any other type by the exchange of your collaboration or by the submitting of information or materials.

TANGO TANGO TV may be not held liable for the different possibilities that may arise following the encounter of a member of professional through our website.  It is imperative to take every precaution necessary before sharing personal information or before encountering other members.

USER PROTECTION

INFORM YOUSELF WELL PRIOR TO ASSISTING WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES, AS WELL AS ASCERTAINING PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES AND RELIABILITY OF ANY  PROGRAMME OFFERED BEFORE PURSUING ANY CURSUS.

The editorial corporation TANGO TANGO TV declines all responsibility in regard of the qualifications and worth pertaining to professionals, associations, or members aforementioned.

We do not permit publicities inviting to join a network of sales, such as “network marketing”, or “pyramidal marketing”.

TANGO TANGO TV is a private space and it retains the right to refuse before publishing or to cancel at any moment the membership of members as persons / societies or institutions that do not respect the user conditions / editorial policies of TANGO TANGO TV, without giving explanation or informing our reasons for refusal to the parties.  The person or institution sanctioned will simply be evinced from our data bases and member lists.

Any personal or promotional communication that leads to any principal or complementary “sexual” services by the means of massages (non therapeutiques), encounters or any other nature are strictly forbidden. In these particular cases, besides refusal, cancellation of publications and prohibition or banishment of the announcer / internet user / collaborator participating in a discussion forum as a member.  TANGO TANGO TV retains the right to persecute by legal and judicial means.

We ask our members to inform TANGO TANGO TV if they are victims of such occurrences.

CONTRIBUTIONS / AUTHORISATIONS/ OTHER CAUSES OF PUBLICATION REFUSAL

The members who create blogs / mini-sites from the TANGO TANGO TV website authorise the editors to copy and publish articles found in blogs in question, mentioning the author, except in explicit disaccord in doing so.

It will be possible to comment freely on articles, sound recordings and videos, provided that the authors’ and their opinion are respected.  Any profane or defamatory usage of language will be immediately sanctioned.  We ask our readers and members to be particularly vigilant and to signal any misuse.

TANGO TANGO TV may choose not to diffuse articles, sound recordings or videos, whose decision is free of reproach and rebuke.  The editorial committee can also withdraw any submitted material of any nature at any moment.  As a general rule, but not exclusively, articles, sound recording or videos characterised by defamation, pornography or disrespect to society, as well as any instigation toward hate, racism, sexism, misophilia, homophony to crime, to proselytising sectarianism, and disrespect toward the fundamental rights of man and woman, of preferences contrary to the morality in effect will be refused for publication.  We equally refuse any repetitive services whose title is modified without modifying its contents.

EDITORIAL COMMITTEE

Given the particular activities of TANGO TANGO TV there will exist different editorial committees composed of collaborators, audiences or volunteers who express their opinion, including the members of TANGO TANGO TV.

The shared material and member profiles may undergo modification pertaining to the grammar in the articles, type, font, and format and duration of sound recordings and duration, without prior notice to its author or contributor.  We will make it our own that the meaning of the message remains respected.

TECHNIQUE

At any moment, the articles, sound recording and / or videos can be withdrawn from our website and be resubmitted for technical reasons, such as the capacity of stocking and actuality of information.

TANGO TANGO TV retains the right for technical reasons among others to modify or to stop temporarily or definitively the TANGO TANGO TV’s website or any other that exists or will exist in relation to the project, as well as its transmission, emission, or realisation promised within a space of time.

TANGO TANGO TV does not accept any other collaboration than those submitted to the website http://www.tangotangotv.com, except in prior agreement.  That means that we do not accept any packages sent by post mail such as CD’s, DVD’s or any other technical supports.  In case of publication refusal of any contribution, TANGO TANGO TV is not in the obligation to notify its reasons of decision (that could be merely technical).

The creation of reserved spaces at the disposal of a certain category of users could take place.  In the future, taken into consideration technical possibilities TANGO TANGO TV counts on giving the option to its contributors to become moderators and to intervene in the choice of the diffused material.

MODIFICATIONS / SUBMITTER AND AUTHOR PROTECTION

The present user conditions can be modified partially or completely without prior notification, particularly in regard of service charges.  All publication, advertisements, mentions or personal information diffused on our website on the date of modification can be withdrawn without prior notification of the modifications in question, or at any other moment by decision of the administration.

TANGO TANGO TV will never be able to charge a modification under the present conditions or in the nature of services before its date of publication.  TANGO TANGO TV cannot in any case ask or demand any type of payment or trade for the services submitted (contributions, collaborations, publications, videos, articles, links, publicities) before this date and / or without the agreement of the submitter, who will be able to withdraw his contribution (video, article, publication, publicity, link) without any prejudice or imposable indemnification.

Any modification or change of the status of a contribution / collaboration, mention, link, or free advertisement will be obliged to establish a prior accord between parties and sign a contract.  TANGO TANGO TV or the submitter may simply cancel and retreat his contributions in case of disagreement.

CORRESPONDENTS

Members desiring to become correspondents must accept the following:

No particular tango school / Milonga / course / festival should be favoured more than another.  We ask you give an objective opinion in commentary pertaining to the locality or professors by leaving aside your personal opinion or enmities.  We ask you respect image rights when taking pictures or videos, obtain a written permission of those being filmed or photographed in courses, milongas, festivals etc. and that you only publish the multimedia destined to be published.  Moreover, the name of the persons who have consented to be photographed or filmed must be present in the title of the multimedia as well as the locality and date.

We ask you respect Copyrights of any material presented on our site and that you obtain authorised permission by the author before use.
The correspondent declares himself / herself responsible for any infraction of the stated terms.  The correspondent collaborates by free will, without remuneration and without contract.  You may seize your activity as correspondent at any moment without justification; we ask however that you notify TANGO TANGO TV of it.  TANGO TANGO TV has the right to accept or decline the candidature as correspondent as well as terminating any collaboration between TANGO TANGO TV and any correspondent at any moment:  access of the latter to any function in the website will be blocked, without justification of reasons.
Material published by correspondents could be partially or totally removed from the website at any moment without prior justification.

SECURITY

We endeavour to guarantee the security of any shared information transmitted by internet in order to protect personal data.  However, due to the increase of malicious persons that use new technologies we may not guarantee 100% acts of piracy with new means unknown today.  Consequently, you accept and understand that communication information pertinent to your person is at your risks and perils, even if at the reception of any information may be secured and assured fully.

You are responsible of the confidentiality of your user name and password.  TANGO TANGO TV is to be advice of any fraudulent or suspected fraudulent usage of the latter.

RIGHTS

We do not communicate nor solicit our documents or data sheet concerning members to third parties declared by the CNIL by the norm 48 put into effect the 11 February 2007.  The gathered information following your subscription are subject to technical treatment destined exclusively to be used by TANGO TANGO TV or the editorial company to communicate news letters, modifications, add-ons, or novelties.  Commercial offers from partners or participations to television emissions susceptible to interest you concerning our website or other actual or future websites under propriety of our editorial company may as well make your personal data subject to processing.
